This poem is an incredible weaving of all the contributors' voices! It's an incantation spoken, sung, and shouted to the sound of 55 drums (including you Natalie!) beating different rhythms that all blend together. It makes you breathless! So happy to be part of it.

Ahh Natalie, this is so beautifully and magically woven I can all almost feel each element touch my skin, I cannot begin to say how honoured I feel to have written just one short line for this wild and windswept incantation...

A pure witchery of words... and I am bewitched by your brilliance - for which I thank you 🍃

Incantation is the right word----worthy of a printout, posting to my wall and maybe doing a few illustrations for these rewilding words....lovely

Oh thank you Jeanne - I am so glad you think so! I am putting the words into a downloadable document too, so they can be printed if desired (love the idea of adding illustrations to them too, how special!)

That would be wonderful! The words are like paintings though--they paint themselves, you use words very well or all your gifted friends who added words do---but you put them in order (as iit were).........REWILDING isn't one for order, is it----why i think it is a spell, an incantation to enchant us to untamedness.

This is magic. As I was reading it I could hear a voice, sometimes voices like a chorus, reading it aloud. It sent a shiver up my spine - not unpleasant. Wow...Just wow!

Love what we created together! I mentioned in my note that I ended up writing a whole poem even though I only sent in one line. Here it is:

Stepping from shelter

Of dripping rainforest,

Pelting icy rain refreshes.

I turn my face upward

To the wind, the storm.

Seabirds swirl in the storm

calling to my heart

Goddess is here and I

am swept up

in Her.
