Oh Natalie, may your brother pull through and be healed. And what a gift that young bird was! Your steadfastness in walking and connecting with the birds gave you this moment. And will give you more, I am sure of it.

Oh gosh Natalie. I’m so sorry to hear this. You know where to go for strength and wisdom and healing. Raven and nature are waiting to help you. Sending big, big hugs to you and your family.

Any other year they would be hibernating now, snug in their underground beds, occasionally nibbling from their pantry of peanuts and seeds, but at 11 C my Chipmunks are out and about and I have been resuming my daily visits with them, stocking their pantries (or perhaps by now - warehouses of peanuts. I love our visits, bunny too - Honey Boo Boo She (?) recovered from a nasty neck injury - I think she was grabbed by a taloned bird, with puncture wounds on her neck. She ate lots of apples that were right outside her hideaway, as I could not catch her to take her to rehab. She pulled through, healed and has grown so much. She still gets daily provisions of apples, sometimes cilantro, carrot peelings and lettuce. And then there’s the squirrels...

I cannot live without these amazing, delightful friends who bring me joy and healing everyday.
