The wild and I have been waiting for you. Come, sit, Iβll make us some teaβ¦
Hello my fellow wildling.
I am an Australian fine artist and writer enthralled with all things wild (inside and out), creating detailed wildlife portraits, examining our relationship to the wild world including through elder-women archetypes, and striving to embody a grounded, kind and creative life in a modern, chaotic world.
The Wild Forgotten is where I share
longer form writing about being a creative,
deeper thoughts about being a wildlife artist,
what I am working on right now and
how that informs my relationship with the wild,
the work I do as a teacher and facilitator of transformation for other creatives,
and most importantly, where we can actually interact as a community.
All of my writing on here is free for all, but there is also an opportunity to support my work, to support me, and the beauty I am committed to bringing into the world by becoming a paid member.
Paid members get my heartfelt thanks, plus celebration of your commitment to being a Patron of the Arts! That you are part of a historical lineage of humans who value art and the wild world, and that you are supporting this working artist to keep providing lots of beauty and inspiration
Free or paid subscriber, I am so, so grateful you are here, and I am honoured to be walking this wild world with you.
So settle down, dear one, on the mossy blanket beneath the old gnarled tree. We are gathering here together, we are also gathering the wild in us. I am so honoured you are here.
